Mission Statement: Our mandate is to preserve and promote Oliver and area’s cultural and natural history.

Programs and services we provides:Guided walking Tours of downtown Oliver, tours of Oliver Museum and grounds, school programs, senior’s programs, tourist information, exhibits, cultural and heritage demonstrations, special events.

We offer our volunteers training specific to the heritage field, learning new skills (ie. computer skills, artifact conservation, public speaking, archival services, photography, research, etc), learning about local history, setting and meeting educational goals, interacting with visitors from all over the world, meeting new people, and social time with staff and other volunteers. We also have a special event every year for our volunteers.

Groups welcome as volunteers:: Seniors, Youth, Physically challenged persons
