The Salvation Army Community & Family Services exists to serve our community by helping those in needs. In Penticton, we are also part of Canada’s Food Bank.We are located at 2399 South Main Street, Penticton and our phone number is 250-492-4788. We are open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm.We can always use a helping hand from volunteers.

Our immediate needs are for:

Hamper Packers – involves standing, bending, filling bags with canned goods, boxed items and other items. Flexible hours. This can be done individually or small group.

Hamper “Scamper” – our receptionists are constantly running to the back room to look for small items for our guests. Also, they fetch the food hampers. A volunteer willing to walk back and forth, able to lift light items, reach for some items and push shopping carts while engaging cheerfully with our guests would be a great asset to our team!
