About the event
Are you Aware?” Is a partnership with SOS Community Connections Volunteer Centre and St Andrews Presbyterian Church. The New Horizons for Seniors Grant funded the project and is free to access. We hope that you find our topics of interest and will join us in becoming more aware of the resources in our community. SOS Community Connections Volunteer Centre received a Federal grant through the New Horizons Seniors Program to Link residents with their community.
Each session has a different theme. September's theme is How to Use a Naloxone Kit!

Speaker: Patrick Shejabl
Patrick Shejabl from the Martin Street Clinic. Patrick works in mental health and substance abuse support, and he’ll will provide invaluable guidance, offering a comprehensive talk-through and practical demonstration on how to properly use a Naloxone kit to help reverse an opioid overdose.
